Sunday lunch for family of 4... all adults. Food was fabulous all served on hot plates and piping hot food, something you don't always get. Their pies are are proper filling e.g Steak and ale, Steak and Stilton. Fully recommend a visit, whether your calling in for food or stopping off after a walk in the area.

Visited the Rivelin tonight for the first time under new management and was very impressed. The food was lovely as too was the atmosphere. Friendly staff and a guitar and singing duet adding to the atmosphere. The evening menu isn't extensive but the quality of the food and portion sizes are good. Definitely a recommend.

We visited yesterday for the first time and both me and my husband loved it. The food was delicious (the crumble was honestly one of the best I've ever had) its really so lovely inside and the owner was really friendly. We will definitely be back and I'd highly recommend to anyone in the area.

I recently visited the Rivelin Pub and had a fantastic experience. The new landlord, Matt, has clearly made a great impression. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The food was excellent – freshly prepared, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the menu and the quality of the ingredients. Matt has done a brilliant job creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, and it really shows. The pub feels inviting, well run, and a great place to meet friends or enjoy a meal. I’d definitely recommend a visit and will certainly be coming back again soon!

Called in today after seeing some recommendations. It didn't disappoint - great service and I had a Posh Fish Finger sandwich and hubby had a Cheeseburger. Both really nice and the chips were lovely. Busy with people just drinking but also food orders. Great setting to see some views! Highly recommend.
